In France, triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Tiger Hill (Danehill-The Filly, by Appiani) added a black-type success when evergreen 10-year-old gelding Young Tiger (Tiger Hill-Youngolina, by Trempolino) scored a 1-length victory in the €98,000 Listed Grand Prix Du Conseil General Des Alpes Maritimes (2500m) for 4YOs & up at Cagnes-sur-Mer. Young Tiger (ridden by Francois-Xavier Bertras for trainer Francois Rohaut) defeated 8YO gelding Refik (Hawker's News-Joly Coeur, by Mont Basile) & 5YO entire Dunaden (Nicobar-La Marlia, by Kaldounevees). Young Tiger took his record to 21 wins (also 2010's Listed Priox Max Sicard over 2400m at Toulouse, Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux over 1900m at Bordeaux & Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse, plus 2009's Listed Prix Max Sicard over 2400m at Toulouse, Listed Grand Prix De La Ville De Nantes over 2400m at Nantes & Listed Grand Prix De Lyon over 2400m at Lyon-Parilly, as well as 2008's Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse & 2007's Listed Prix Du Grand Camp over 2400m at Lyon-Parilly) & 15 placings (including 2010's Listed Grand Prix De Nantes over 2400m at Nantes & Listed Grand Prix De La Region Alsace over 2100m at Strasbourg, plus 2009's Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux over 1900m & Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse, as well as 2004's Gr3 Prix La Force over 2000m at Saint-Cloud) from 36 starts for €427,562 (A$556,000) earnings.
