Danleigh Wins Gr1 Chipping Norton Stakes

Eliza Park Stud shuttler Mujahid (Danzig-Elrafa Ah, by Storm Cat) added a Gr1 triumph when 7YO gelding Danleigh (Mujahid-Graceful Lily, by Dr Grace) stormed home to snatch victory by a neck in the $350,000 weight-for-age Gr1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) at Warwick Farm in Sydney & improve on his 3rd-placing in the same race last year. Danleigh (ridden by Hugh Bowman for trainer Chris Waller) defeated 5YO gelding Centennial Park (Thorn Park-Trephina, by Last Tycoon) & 5YO mare Sacred Choice (Choisir-Sacred Habit, by Sir Tristram).
