Former Grand Lodge Thoroughbreds shuttler Distorted Humor (Forty Niner-Danzig's Beauty, by Danzig) added a US black-type success when 4YO entire Colizeo (Distorted Humor-Colony Band, by Dixieland Band) scored a 4-lengths victory in the US$60,000 Listed Challenger Stakes (8.5 furlongs) for 4YOs & up at Tampa Bay Downs in Florida. Colizeo (ridden by Willie Martinez for trainer Todd Pletcher) defeated Argentine-bred 4YO entire Jardim (Ski Champ-Copacabana Beach, by Midnight Tiger) & Canadian-bred 7YO gelding Yummy With Butter (Silvador-Sophisticatedbagel, by Kris S). Colizeo took his record to 5 wins (also including 2010's Gr3 Northern Dancer Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Churchill Downs & Listed Star Of Cozzene Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Belmont Park) & 4 placings (including 2010's Gr3 Ack Ack Handicap over 8.5 furlongs at Churchill Downs & Listed Barbaro Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Delaware Park) from 13 starts for US$271,937 earnings.
