5 Aust-Trained & 4 Aust-Bred In World Top 50

Overall 5 Australian-trained & 4 Australian-bred horses feature in latest list of the world's Top 50 racehorses released by the International Federation Of Horse Authorities. Australian-trained horses Hay List (Statue Of Liberty-Sing Hallelujah, by Is It True), Whobegotyou (Street Cry-Temple Of Peace, by Carnegie) & Zipping (Danehill-Social Scene, by Grand Lodge) are equal 30th with a rating of 120; & Shocking (Street Cry-Maria Di Castiglia, by Danehill) is equal 44th following his win in the Gr1 Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington on March 12. Meanwhile Australian-bred Singapore star Rocket Man (Viscount-Macrosa, by McGinty) improved his rating to 122 with his victory in last weekend's Gr1 Golden Shaheen (1200m) in Dubai & is now equal 11th in the World Thoroughbred Rankings (alongside South Africa's JJ The Jet Plane as the equal 2nd-highest sprinter). They are marginally ahead of Hong Kong-based Australian-bred sprinter Sacred Kingdom (Encosta De Lago-Courtroom Sweetie, by Zeditave) who is equal 16th with Melbourne Cup winner Americain on a 121 rating. The other Australian-bred horse in the Top 50 is Singapore-based Better Than Ever (French Deputy-Songfest, by Unbridled's Song) who sits equal 44th with Shocking.
