Bliss Street Wins WA Sires' Produce Stakes

Arrowfield Stud stallion & former Australian Champion Sire Flying Spur (Danehill-Rolls, by Mr Prospector) added a juvenile group success (& 83rd individual stakes-winner, following his 82nd in Sydney on the same afternoon with Syreon: reported in next item) when daughter Bliss Street (Flying Spur-Jade Diva, by Jade Robbery) scored a 2-lengths victory in the $200,000 Gr3 WA Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) for 2YOs at Ascot. Bliss Street (ridden by William Pike for trainer Dam Morton) defeated fellow fillies Single Spice (Not A Single Doubt-Zaffron Gal, by Galileo) & Valley Girl (Saxon-Ravinia, by Thunder Gulch). Bliss Street (a $100,000 yearling consigned by Yarraman Park at the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) took her record to 2 wins & 2 placings (including March's Listed Gimcrack Stakes over 1100m at Ascot) from 5 starts for $160,896 earnings.
