In France, Gr1-winning NZ Haunui Farm shuttler & 2002 French Champion 2YO Elusive City (Elusive Quality-Star Of Paris, by Dayjur) added a black-type success when UK-bred 4YO entire Fred Lalloupet (Elusive City-Firm Friend, by Affirmed) scored a 3-lengths victory in the €52,000 (A$81,000) Listed Prix Cor De Chasse (1100m) at Fontainebleau. Fred Lalloupet (ridden by Olivier Peslier for trainer David Smaga) defeated Irish-bred 5YOm mare Lisselan Diva (Barathea-Vintage Escape, by Cyrano De Bergerac) & UK-bred 3YO colt Move In Time (Monsieur Bond-Tibesti, by Machiavellian). Fred Lalloupet took his record to 4 wins & 8 placings (including 2010's Listed Prix Contessina over 1200m at Fontainebleau) from 16 starts for €111,050 (A$152,000) earnings.
