1st Win For $400k Encosta De Lago Filly

Valuable 3YO filly Grenada Road (Encosta De Lago-Rationaine, by Centaine) notched her 1st win (at her 3rd start) with victory over 1600m at Cranbourne in Victoria yesterday for trainer Peter Moody. Grenada Road (a half-sister to Gr1 Victoria Derby winner Amalfi) was a $400,000 yearling consigned by Trelawney Stud at the 2009 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
