In the UK, triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Dubawi (Dubai Millennium-Zomaradah, by Deploy) added a black-type success when his colt Dubawi Gold (Dubawi-Savannah Belle, by Green Desert) scored a half-length victory in the £30,000 (A$47,000) Listed International Trial Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YOs at Lingfield Park. Dubawi Gold (ridden by Richard Hughes for trainer Richard Hannon) defeated Irish-bred colts Hamlool (Red Ransom-Chelsea Rose, by Desert King) & Burj Alzain (Marju-Bahareeya, by Riverman). Overall he now has 4 wins (also including March's Listed Spring Cup over 7 furlongs at Lingfield Park) & a runner-up (in 2010's Listed Woodcote Stakes over 6 furlongs at Epsom Downs) from 9 starts for £52,785 (A$82,000) earnings.
