Widden Cuts Stratum Fee 9.1% To $55k

Wednesday, 13th April 2011

Widden Stud announced the 2011 service fees for its 10 stallions & principal Antony Thompson commented: "Widden Stud has a reputation for setting realistic service fees & we believe the 2011 roster offers breeders plenty of value in a competitive market place. We have a mix of proven & up-and-coming sires that are priced to appeal, giving the budget-conscious breeder a 2nd-to-none chance of producing that top class racehorse we all aspire to." New to the Widden roster this year is dual Gr1-winner Star Witness, who Thompson noted "will be heading to Royal Ascot as planned with his final service fee to be confirmed in due course, although we are still taking bookings to him at this time & breeders that get in early will be rewarded."
