Multiple Gr1-Winner Lady Sprinter Dies In Argentina

In Argentina, multiple Gr1-winner Lady Sprinter (Orientate-Passionate Player, by Dixieland Band) who became the 1st Argentine-owned horse to start in a US Breeders' Cup race (finishing 9th in the 2008 Gr1 Breeders' Cup Fillies & Mares Sprint) died after a bout of laminitis at Haras La Pasion. Kentucky-bred Lady Sprinter won 8 of her 10 starts in Argentina, including the Gr1 Gran Premio Maipu & Gr1 Gran Pemio Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
