8 Aust-Bred Winners In Malaysia

In Malaysia, 8 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Perak:

  • 8YO gelding Speed Leopard (Vitrinite-Finance Review, by Last Tycoon) won over 1100m for trainer Lim Hoon Seng. Speed Leopard was a $27,500 yearling consigned by Stratheden Stud at the 2004 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Golden Plan (Desert Prince-Less Speed, by Quest For Fame) won over 1400m for trainer John McGillivray.
  • 5YO gelding Flying Horse (Happy Giggle-Minamoto, by Fuji Kiseki) won over 1200m for trainer K.Coetzee. Flying Horse was passed-in as a yearling for $14,000 at the 2008 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently was a $15,000 2YO at the Inglis Victorian Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Belwins (Bel Esprit-Beauty World, by Danehil Dancer) won over 1200m for trainer James Brogan. Belwins was passed-in as a yearling for $145,000 at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale & subsequently a $40,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO filly Turningold (Refuse To Bend-Gold Fame, by Made Of Gold) won over 1200m for trainer S.W.Tan. Turningold passed-in for $10,000 as a yearling at the 2008 Inglis Autumn Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Wai Kor (Dante's Fury-Brilliant Princess, by Spectrum) won over 1400m for trainer P.K.Leong.
  • 7YO gelding Best Wrestler (Prince Domino-Amboulette, by Hideyoshi) won over 1400m for trainer P.K.Leong. Best Wrestler was a $10,000 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Perth Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding How You See (Viscount-Borely, by Reprimand) won over 1200m for trainer John McGillivray. How You See was a $16,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney & subsequently a $27,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
