Monday, 18th April 2011

The Oaks Stud's 5-time Gr1-winning & 5-time Gr1-placed 8YO freshman stallion Darci Brahma (Danehill-Grand Echezeaux, by Zabeel) added a juvenile black-type success (& 1st stakes-winner) when his colt Darci Be Good (Darci Brahma-You Can't Say That, by Fusaichi Pegasus) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the $100,000 Listed Fernhill Handicap (1600m) for 2YOs at Randwick. Darci Be Good (ridden by Luke Nolen for trainer Bede Murray) defeated the gelding Cocky Raider (Testa Rossa-Rocotto, by Brocco) & fellow colt Continental Flyer (Testa Rossa-Diamond Hill, by Danehill).
