Magic Millions QTIS Yearlings Day-1: $100k Sequalo Colt

Monday, 18th April 2011

Bloodstock agent Cameron Cooke (acting for trainer Tony Gollan & clients) paid $100,000 for a colt by Lyndhurst Stud sire Sequalo (the 3rd foal out of unraced 9YO Canadian Silver mare Count The Silver) consigned by Lyndhurst Stud Farm. The colt's dam Count The Silver is a half-sister to stakes-winner Holding & Cooke commented: "He is clearly my pick of the colts at this sale - a real standout, good body, very athletic, correct & a lovely walker. Tony Gollan trained Spirit Of Boom, a stakes-winner who has won 4 races, over $300,000 with $63,000 in QTIS bonuses & this horse is a very similar type to him."
