Streama Wins Keith Mackay Quality

Monday, 18th April 2011

Gr1 Golden Slipper-winning Widden Stud stallion & last year's Champion 1st-Season Sire Stratum (Redoute's Choice-Bourgeois, by Luskin Star) added a juvenile black-type success (& 8th individual stakes-winner) when daughter Streama (Stratum-Pensiamo, by Sovereign Red) scored by a long-neck in the $100,000 Listed Keith Mackay Quality (1200m) for 2YO fillies at Randwick. Streama (ridden by Hugh Bowman for trainer Guy Walter) defeated Charm's Honour (Strada-She's Got Charm, by Bletcharm) & Houston Benefactor (Encosta De Lago-Sovereign Duchess, by Last Tycoon). Streama now has 1 win & 2 runners-up (including March's Gr3 Sweet Embrace Stakes over 1200m at Warwick Farm) from 4 starts for $92,150 earnings.
