Blue Beret Wins Inglis Autumn Plate

Wednesday, 20th April 2011

Rangal Park Stud stallion Ne Coupez Pas (Nureyev-Soundings, by Mr Prospector) added a juvenile feature success when front-running daughter Blue Beret (Ne Coupez Pas-Militant Miss, by El Qahira) scored a 0.75-length victory (& then survived a protest by the runner-up) in yesterday's $100,000 Inglis Autumn Plate (1200m) for 2YOs at Seymour in Victoria. Blue Beret (ridden by Andrew Mallyon for trainer Tracey Templeton) defeated fellow fillies Rossa May (Testa Rossa-Effy May, by Jade Robbery) & Zara's Balcony (Commands-Omens, by Octagon). Blue Beret (a $35,000 yearling consigned by Little Plains Stud at the 2010 Inglis Autumn Sale) took her record to 1 win from 2 starts for $62,525 earnings.
