6 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley:

  • 4YO gelding Vintage Hussler (Hussonet-Froth And Bubble, by Jugah) won over 100m for trainer Gary Ng.
  • 5YO gelding Royal Pumpkin (Testa Rossa-Survey, by Geiger Counter) won over 1650m for trainer Caspar Fownes. Royal Pumpkin was a $105,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Redoute's Fortune (Redoute's Choice-Quibble, by Zabeel) won over 1650m for trainer Me Tsui. Redoute's Fortune was a $195,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 6YO gelding Give Well (Dash For Cash-Orford Court, by Military Plume) won over 1650m for trainer Almond Lee. Give Well was a $32,500 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney & subsequently a $40,000 2YO at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 5YO gelding New Glory (Giant's Causeway-Raining, by Hurricane Sky) won over 1200m for Australian trainer David Hall.
  • 4YO gelding Good Words (Oamaru Force-Bent Zena, by Rancho Ruler) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Cruz. Good Words was a $5,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Autumn Sale.
