Red Tracer Wins James Carr Stakes

Gr3-winning & triple Gr2-placed Kitchwin Hills stallion Dane Shadow (Danehill-Slight Chance, by Centaine) added a black-type success when favoured daughter Red Tracer (Dane Shadow-Kisma, by Snippets) made it 2 successive stakes-wins in a fortnight with a 1.5-lengths victory in the $100,000 Listed James Carr Stakes (1400m) for 3YO fillies at Randwick. Equal top-weighted Red Tracer (ridden by Glyn Schofield for trainer Chris Waller) defeated Flokkati (Fastnet Rock-Markka, by Marscay) & Potions (Encosta De Lago-Wichita, by Umatilla). Ultra-consistent Red Tracer took her record to 5 wins (also including last start's Listed P.J.Bell Stakes over 1200m at Canterbury Park on April 8) & 4 placings (including February's Gr2 Patinack Farm Light Fingers Stakes over 1200m at Randwick & March's Gr2 Patinack Farm Surround Stakes over 1400m at Warwick Farm) from 9 starts for $345,010 earnings.
