Aust-Bred King Of Danes Son Wins Hong Kong Gr2

Also in Hong Kong yesterday, former Glenlogan Park & now Malniri Park Stud stallion King Of Danes (Danehill-Impulsive Rhythm, by Rubiton) added a group success when Australian-bred 4YO gelding Multiglory (King Of Danes-Who's Blushing, by Staroka) scored a half-length victory in the HK$3 million (A$375,000) Gr2 Sprint Cup (1200m) at Sha Tin. Multiglory (ridden by Matthew Chadwick for trainer Tony Cruz) defeated favoured Australian-bred 7YO gelding & former World Champion Sprinter & HK Horse-Of-The-Year Sacred Kingdom (Encosta De Lago-Courtroom Sweetie, by Zeditave) & fellow 4YO gelding Final Answer (Kyllachy-Valandraud, by College Chapel). Multiglory (a $3,500 weanling at the Inglis Victorian June Sale) took his record to 6 wins & 3 placings from 16 starts for HK$5,380,500 (A$673,000) earnings.
