Monday, 2nd May 2011

On the Australian track, Gr1-winning & 4-time Gr1-placed Vinery Stud stallion Mossman (Success Express-Lichen Lady, by Twig Moss) added a group success when favoured 3YO gelding Buffering (Mossman-Action Annie, by Anabaa) returned from a 6-months spell to score a front-running 1.25-lengths victory over his older rivals in the $175,000 weight-for-age Gr2 Victory Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm in Brisbane. Buffering (ridden by Larry Cassidy for trainer Robert Heathcote) defeated 5YO entire Atomic Force (Danehill Dancer-Show Of Force, by Luskin Star) & 6YO gelding Azzaland (Za-Im-Mrs Ledden, by Ignatius).
