Keano Retired To Stud At Salamander Park

Stakes-winning 5YO stallion Keano (Pins-O'Really, by Centaine) has been retired to stand at Philip Anderson's Merton-based Salamander Park in Victoria, following his purchase by principal Philip Anderson at March's Inglis Melbourne Sale. Keano (originally a $450,000 yearling consigned by Waikato Stud at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney) recorded 6 wins overall (including the Listed QTC Lightning Handicap over 1000m at Eagle Farm, plus stakes-placings in both the Gr3 Healy Stakes over 1200m at Eagle Farm & Listed Sir John Monash Stakes over 1100m at Caulfield).
