So You Think Wins European Debut By 10-Lengths

Australian 5-time Gr1-winning 4YO entire So You Think (High Chaparral-Triassic, by Tights) returned from a 6-months spell to win his European debut by 10-lengths in Ireland's €72,500 (A$100,000) Gr3 Mooresbridge Stakes (10 furlongs) for 4YOs & up at The Curragh overnight. Dual Derby-winning shuttler & 6-time Gr1 victor High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells-Kasora, by Darshaan) added a group success as So You Think (ridden by Seamie Heffernanfor trainer Aidan O'Brien) raced right away over the final furlong to defeat 4YO gelding Bob Le Beau (Big Bad Bob-Shine Silently, by Bering) & 6YO mare Mid Mon Lady (Danetime-Shining Desert, by Green Desert). So You Think (a NZ$110,000 yearling consigned from Windsor Park at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) now boasts 9 wins (also including 2010's Gr1 Cox Plate over 2040m at Mooney Valley, Gr1 Yalumba Stakes over 2000m at Caulfield, Gr1 Underwood Stakes over 1800m at Caulfield & Gr2 Memsie Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield, plus 2009's Gr1 Cox Plate over 2040m at Moonee Valley & Gr3 Gloaming Stakes over 1800m at Rosehill) & 3 placings (in 2010's Gr1 Melbourne Cup over 3200m at Flemington, plus both 2009's Gr1 Emirates Stakes over 1600m at Flemington & Listed Ming Dynasty Quality Handicap over 1400m at Randwick) from 13 starts.
