Argentine Champ Inter Optimist Retired To Stud

In South America, Argentina's triple Gr1-winning 6YO entire & 2008 Champion Miler Inter Optimist (Incurable Optimist-Es Interprete, by Interprete) has been retired from racing, following his victory in last weekend's Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio De Las Americas (1600m) at Palermo, to enter stud at Haras Vengador in Cordoba province. Inter Optimist (who successfully returned to the track after a knee fracture in 2009) recorded 10 wins (also including 2009's Gr2 Clasico Peru over 1800m at Palermo & Gr2 Clasico Otono over 2000m at Palermo, plus 2008's Gr1 Gran Premio Joaquin De Anchorena over 1600m at San Isidro, Gr1 Gran Premio San Isidro over 1600m, Gr2 Clasico 9 De Julio over 1600m at San Isidro & Gr3 Clasico Porteno over 1600m at San Isidro) & 7 placings (including April's Gr2 Clasico Benito Villanueva over 1600m at Palermo & March's Gr2 Clasico America over 1600m at San Isidro, plus 2009's Gr2 Clasico 9 De Julio over 1600m at San Isidro & Gr3 Clasico Buenos Aires over 1600m at Palermo) from 25 starts.
