In Singapore, 8 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Kranji:

  • 3YO gelding Secret Party (Secret Savings-Raheebah, by Snaadee) won over 1000m for trainer Douglas Dragon. Secret Party was a $16,000 weanling consigned by Emirates Park at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $10,000 yearling consigned by Daandine Stud at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Shiny Lion (Lion Heart-Renano Brightia, by Sky Classic) won over 1700m for trainer Hideyuki Takaoka.
  • 8YO gelding Rapidflare (Lujain-Jucinda, by Hector Protector) won over 1200m for trainer David Kok. Rapidflare was a $20,000 weanling at the 2003 Magic Millions Lyndhurst Stud Reduction Sale & subsequently a $40,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Dictator (Tycoon Ruler-Bella Fuse, by Irgun) won over 1100m for Australian trainer Michael Freedman. Dictator was a $6,000 yearling consigned by Clear Mountain Fairview at the 2008 Magic Millions National Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Senapathy (Hussonet-Somptuosite, by Storm Bird) won over 1000m for trainer Michael Clements. Senapathy was a $50,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently a $120,000 2YO at the 2007 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Astronaut Man (Al Samer-Emtiaz, by Last Tycoon) won over 1100m for Australian trainer Don Baertschiger. Astronaut Man was an $8,000 yearling consigned by Emirates Park at the 2009 Inglis Classic Sale & subsequently an $80,000 2YO consigned by Centaur Park at the 2009 Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Solid Wood (Commands-Honey Moss, by Royal Academy) won over 1400m for Australian trainer Don Baertschiger.
  • 3YO gelding Asanti (Danehill Dancer-Naareda, by Dehere) won over 1200m for Australian trainer Steven Burridge.
