Artie Schiller Adds Canadian Black-Type

In Canada, US Gr1-winning former Independent Stallions Victoria shuttler Artie Schiller (El Prado-Hidden Light, by Majestic Light) added a black-type success when his colt Bear's Chill (Artie Schiller-Silver Nithi, by Numerous) scored a 2.5-lengths victory in the C$150,000 Listed Queenston Stakes (7 furlongs on all-weather) for 3YOs at Woodbine in Toronto. Bear's Chill (ridden by Emile Ramsammy for trainer Reade Baker) defeated the geldings Say No More (Langfuhr-Silent Course, by Trajectory) & Oh Canada (Proud Citizen-Oh Livia D, by Ascot Knight). Bear's Grill was a C$79,000 yearling at the 2009 Ontario September Sale. Overall he now has 3 wins & a runner-up from 5 starts for C$193,355 earnings.
