Danehill Dancer Adds Hong Kong Gr3

In Hong Kong, former shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a group success when Irish-bred 5YO entire Super Pistachio (Danehill Dancer-Pharapache, by Lyphard) scored a 0.75-length victory in the HK$2.3 million (A$287,000) Gr3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup (2400m) at Sha Tin. Super Pistachio (ridden by Matthew Chadwick for trainer Tony Cruz) defeated French-bred 4YO gelding Jacobee (Mark Of Esteem-Sweet Cando, by Royal Applause) & French-bred 5YO gelding Mighty High (Peintre Celebre-Bernimixa, by Linamix). Super Pistachio took his HK record to 1 win & 4 placings (including March's Gr3 Hong Premier Plate over 1800m, plus both 2010's Gr1 Champions & Chater Cup over 2400m & Gr1 Hong Kong Derby over 2000m) from 16 starts for HK$7,588,500 (A$949,000) earnings.
