Monday, 9th May 2011

In France, dual-Derby winning stallion & former NZ Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu (Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) added a group success when Irish-bred colt Pour Moi (Montjeu-Gwynn, by Darshaan) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the €130,000 (A$181,000) Gr2 Prix Greffulhe (2000m) for 3YOs at Saint-Cloud. Pour Moi (ridden by Mickael Barzalona for trainer Andre Fabre) defeated fellow colts Bubble Chic (Chichicastenango-Bubble Back, by Grand Lodge) & Vadamar (Dalakhani-Vadawina, by Unfuwain). Pour Moi took his record to 2 wins & a placing (in April's Gr3 Prix La Force over 2100m at Longchamp) from 4 starts for €103,100 (A$143,000) earnings.
