US triple Gr1-winning Kentucky-based Lane's End Farm pensioned stallion Kingmambo (Mr Prospector-Miesque, by Nureyev) added a group success when imported UK-bred 6YO gelding My Kingdom Of Fife (Kingmambo-Fairy Godmother, by Fairy King) made it 3 successive group wins in a month when he gained the judge's decision in a 3-way photo-finish to the $300,000 weight-for-age Gr2 A.D.Hollindale Stakes (1800m) at the Gold Coast in Queensland. Favourite My Kingdom Of Fife (ridden by Nash Rawiller for trainer Chris Waller) scored by a long-neck from 5YO entire Glass Harmonium (Verglas-Spring Symphony, by Darshaan) with a further long-neck to 8YO gelding Scenic Shot (Scenic-Sweepshot, by Dr Grace). My Kingdom Of Fife was purchased at last year's UK Tattersalls Autumn Horses-In-Training Sale by bloodstock agent Alistair Donald for 60,000 guineas (A$96,000) on behalf of Australian owner Richard Pegum.
