6 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 5YO gelding Darpana (Royal Academy-Going Raja, by Well Decorated) won over 1200m for trainer David Ferraris. Darpana was a $34,000 yearling consigned by Mill Park at the 2007 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Cat Storm (Tale Of The Cat-Eternal Youth, by Fairy King) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Cruz. Cat Storm was a $100,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO gelding Mustang (Choisir-Maid Of Pines, by Charnwood Forest) won over 1400m for Australian trainer David Hall. Mustang was a $130,000 yearling consinged by Vinery Stud as agent at the 2008 Magic Millions Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Super Horse (Flying Spur-Decidity, by Last Tycoon) won over for trainer Michael Chang. Super Horse was a $200,000 yearling consigned by Widden Stud as agent at the 2009 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Adoration (Catbird-Kooroora Blue, by Red Ransom) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Size. Adoration was a $47,500 yearling at the 2009 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Flying China (French Deputy-Springtime Sunray, by Gulch) won over 1650m for trainer Alex Wong. Flying China was a $55,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
