Dysphonia Wins Scone Cup

Former Australian Racehorse-Of-The-Year & 11-time Gr1-winning World Champion Miler Lonhro (Octagonal-Shadea, by Straight Strike) added a black-type success when 4YO mare Dysphonia (Lonhro-Stutter, by Night Shift) scored a half-length victory in the $175,000 Listed Scone Cup (1600m). Dysphonia (ridden by Christian Reith for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated 5YO gelding Willy Jimmy (Dehere-Hula Wonder, by Hula Chief) & 6YO gelding Mr Unforgettable (Rubiton-La Marama, by Luskin Star). Dysphonia now has 7 wins (also including 2010's Listed Festival Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill) & 5 placings (including April's Listed Darley Crown over 1300m at Hawkesbury) from 19 starts for $360,081 earnings.
