Tin Horse Wins French Gr1 2000 Guineas

In France overnight, owner-breeder the Marquise de Moratalla's Irish-bred colt Tin Horse (Sakhee-Joyeuse Entree, by Kendor) scored a 2-lengths victory in the €450,000 (A$626,000) Gr1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains-2000 Guineas (1600m) for 3YO colts at Longchamp in Paris. Tin Horse (ridden by Thierry Jarnet for trainer Didier Guillemin) defeated UK-bred duo Havane Smoker (Dubawi-Ballet Ballon, by Rahy) & Venomous (Red Ransom-Snake Dancer, by Golden Snake). Tin Horse took his record to 3 wins & 4 placings (including April's Gr3 Prix De FontaineBleau over 1600m at Longchamp, plus both 2010's Gr1 Jean Luc Lagardere over 1600m at Longchamp & Gr1 Prix Morny over 1200m at Deauville) from 7 starts for €442,697 (A$615,000) earnings.
