Euryale Wins Gibson Carmichael Stakes

Former Australian Racehorse-Of-The-Year & 11-time Gr1-winning World Champion Miler Lonhro (Octagonal-Shadea, by Straight Strike) added a juvenile black-type success (& 25th individual stakes-winner) when his filly Euryale (Lonhro-Meduesa, by Fusaichi Pegasus) scored a 0.75-length victory in the $100,000 Listed Gibson Carmichael Stakes (1600m) for 2YOs at Flemington. Euryale (ridden by Craig Newitt for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated fellow filly Torah (Spinning World-Perisher Valley, by Devil's Bag) & top-weighted gelding Isopach (Magic Albert-Curvaceous, by Zabeel).
