Kanzan Wins Glenlogan Park Stakes

Gr3-winning & multiple Gr1-placed stallion Commands (Danehill-Cotehele House, by My Swanee) added a group success when 4YO mare Kanzan (Commands-Cherry Lodge, by Grand Lodge) scored by a long-neck in the $150,000 Gr3 Glenlogan Park Stakes (1350m) for fillies & mares at Doomben. Kanzan (ridden by Corey Brown for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated 5YO mares Zero Rock (Danzero-Broc n Roll, by Brocco) & Returntosender (Elusive City-Disco Girl, by Marauding). Kanzan (a $24,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Autumn Sale in Melbourne) now has 5 wins (also including last start's Listed Darley Crown over 1300m at Hawkesbury on April 30, plus 2010's Listed Ladies Day Cup over 1300m at Hawkesbury) & 6 placings (including 2010's Listed Razor Sharp Handicap over 1200m at Randwick, Listed Silk Stocking Handicap over 1200m at the Gold Coast & Listed Darby Munro Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill, plus 2009's Gr3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield) from 17 starts for $483,150 earnings.
