Maryland 2YOs Day-1: Average Down 1.7%

Wednesday, 25th May 2011

Overall on Day-1 in Maryland, 162 lots sold (73.6%) for US$7,641,600 at an average of US$47,170 (down 1.7%) & a median of US$25,000 (down 7.4%). Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning commented: “Overall, it was very good today. For the most part there was spirited bidding. It wasn’t just one bidder going against the RNA (reserve). There was a depth of buyers here. Anytime you increase the catalogue & can be even with an increase in supply, that’s positive.”
