Giant's Causeway Adds US Black-Type

Former shuttler Giant's Causeway (Storm Cat-Mariah's Storm, by Rahy) added a US black-type success when his colt Crimson China (Giant's Causeway-Parisian Affair, by Mr Greeley) scored a 1-length victory in the US$70,000 Listed Lamplighter Stakes (8.5 furlongs on turf) for 3YOs at Monmouth Park in New Jersey. Crimson China (ridden by Alan Garcia for trainer Graham Motion) defeated fellow colt Beachcombing (Lemon Drop Kid-Zelmira, by Deputy Minister) & the gelding J Isle (J Town-Orchid Isle, by Zamindar). Crimson China took his record to 3 wins & 2 runners-up (including March’s Listed Rushaway Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Turfway Park) from 6 starts for US$112,536 earnings.
