South Africa Cape Sale: Average Up 2.7%

Overall in Cape Town, 100 lots sold for R5,452,000 (A$780,000) which was up 48.9% from last year. The average of R54,520 (A$7,800) was up 2.7% & the clearance rate was 76%. SA Thoroughbred Breeders Association chief executive Jan Naude commented: “It was an overall satisfying sale, with the top price of R530,000 (A$76,000) being more than respectable for a sale like this.”
