Turnitup Wins Grand Prix Stakes

Gr3-winning & triple Gr2-placed Kitchwin Hills stallion Dane Shadow (Danehill-Slight Chance, by Centaine) added a group success (& 5th individual stakes-winner) when favoured gelding Turnitup (Dane Shadow-No Finding, by Hula Chief) gained the judge’s decision in a 3-way photo-finish to the $150,000 Gr3 Grand Prix Stakes (2200m) for 3YOs at Doomben. Turnitup (ridden by Luke Nolen for trainer Peter Moody) scored by a half-neck from fellow gelding Mr Light Blue (Fantastic Light-African Queen, by Lion Hunter) with a further long-beck to another gelding Alma's Fury (Refuse To Bend-Dance Attendance, by What A Guest).
