5 Aust-Bred Winners In Macau

In Macau yesterday, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 6YO gelding Winlord (Dubai Destination-Fly To Rome, by Acecay) won over 1200m for trainer K.H.Leong. Winlord was a $20,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Winter Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Grand Eagle (Kempinsky-Raja Lane, by Devaraja) won over 1100m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Grand Eagle was a $35,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Palm Trilogy (Dubai Destination-Dubai Ice, by Danehill) won over 1500m for trainer Y.C.Fung. Palm Trilogy was passed-in as a yearling for $90,000 at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 6YO gelding Hostwin Winners (Perugino-Slick Action, by Bite The Bullet) won over 1050m for trainer K.C.Chong.
  • 3YO gelding Trust Me Bet (Kitten’s Joy-Stormy Flyer, by Stormy Bird) won over 1300m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Trust Me Bet was a $40,000 yearling consigned by Mill Park as agent at the 2010 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
