Monday, 5th September 2011

Former Yarraman Park & now Woodside Park's stakes-winning & Gr1-placed sire Foreplay (Danehill-Procrastinate, by Jade Hunter) added a group success when top-weighted gelding Decision Time (Foreplay-Daunting Thought, by Just Awesome) returned from a 27-weeks spell to score a 0.75-length victory in the $125,000 Gr3 Concorde Stakes (1100m) at Warwick Farm. Decision Time (ridden by Corey Brown for trainer Clarry Conners) defeated favoured 5YO gelding Winter King (One Cool Cat-Something Special, by Bletchingly) & fellow 5YO gelding Monton (Catbird-Dynamic Flyer, by Marauding). Decision Time now has 8 wins (also including February’s Listed Fireball Handicap over 1100m at Rosehill, plus 2010's Gr2 Stan Fox Stakes over 1400m at Randwick, Listed Heritage Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill & Listed Black Opal Stakes over 1200m at Thoroughbred Park in Canberra) & 3 placings (in 2010's Gr1 Golden Slipper over 1200m at Rosehill, Gr2 Todman Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill & Gr3 San Domenico Stakes over 1000m at Randwick) from 13 starts for $1,333,700 earnings.
