Unbeaten multiple Gr1-winning stallion Reset (Zabeel-Assertive Lass, by Zeditave) added a group success when 4YO mare Pinker Pinker (Reset-Miss Marion, by Success Express) scored by a neck in the $200,000 Gr2 Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) for mares 4YO & up at Flemington. Pinker Pinker (ridden by Glen Boss for trainer Greg Eurell) defeated 6YO mare Mid Summer Music (Oamaru Force-Samsara Lady, by Nassipour) & favoured fellow 4YO mare Parables (Lonhro-Fairytales, by Night Shift). Pinker Pinker (a $120,000 yearling consigned by Millford Thoroughbreds at the 2009 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) now has 5 wins (also including March’s Gr3 Schweppervescence Trophy over 1600m at Flemington & February’s Gr2 Angus Armanasco Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield) & 2 placings (in April’s Gr1 Patinack Farm 100th AJC Oaks over 2400m at Randwick & March’s Listed Kevin Hayes Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield) from 13 starts for $525,868 earnings.
