Blue Gum Farm's Gr1-winning stallion Umatilla (Miswaki-Dancing Show, by Nijinsky) added a group success when 4YO gelding Sincero (Umatilla-Yours As Always, by Prego) returned from a 12-weeks spell to notch his 8th win from his last 9 starts in scoring by a nose in the $125,000 Gr3 Tramway Handicap (1400m) at Warwick Farm. Sincero (ridden by Chris O’Brien for trainer Stephen Farley) defeated 4YO mare Secret Admirer (Dubawi-Secret Illusion, by Secret Savings) & 6YO gelding Thankgodyou'rehere (Secret Savings-Winifred's Prayer, by Tierce). Sincero (an $8,000 yearling consigned by Nerreman Stud at the 2009 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney) now has 10 wins (also including June’s Gr1 Stradbroke Handicap over 1400m at Eagle Farm, May’s Inglis Guineas over 1600m at Scone & April's Listed Gosford Guineas over 1200m) & a runner-up from 14 starts for $1,185,750 earnings.
