Sweetest Melody (ridden by Chris Munce for trainer Gai Waterhouse) defeated top-weighted & favoured 4YO mare Red Tracer (Dane Shadow-Kisma, by Snippets) & fellow 5YO mare Jerezana (Lonhro-Saddler's Silk, by Barathea). Sweetest Melody (passed-in for $190,000 when consigned by Widden Stud at the 2008 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale) now has 7 wins & 2 placings from 11 starts for $226,170 earnings.
