In Macau, 5 Australia-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 3YO colt Billingsgate (Face Value-Oriental Queen, by New Regent) won over 1100m trainer Paddy Busuttin.
  • 5YO gelding Power Purdey (Lonhro-Walnut, by Procol Harum) won over 1100m for trainer K.H.Leong.
  • 5YO gelding Rayson (Encosta de Lago-Silver Robe, by Elusive Quest) won over 1500m for Australian trainer Peter Leyshan.
  • 7YO gelding Golden Bullet (King Ivor-Shy Spy, by Spectacular Spy) won over 1100m for trainers P.C.Kan & K.C.Tse.
  • 3YO gelding Francis (Hussonet-Miss Kariba, by Lunchtime) won over 1200m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Francis was a $22,000 yearling consigned by Segenhoe Stud as agent at the 2010 Magic Millions Select Sale & subsequently a $100,000 2YO at the Queenland Horses-In-Training Sale.
