Kasumi Wins NZ Canterbury Belle Stakes

Paxton Park sire Shinko King (Fairy King-Rose Of Jericho, by Alleged) added a NZ black-type success when daughter Kasumi (Shinko King-Mistaurian, by Straight Strike) scored a0.75-length victory in the NZ$45,000 Listed Canterbury Belle Stakes (1200m) for 3YO fillies at Riccarton Park. Kasumi (ridden by Jamie Bullard for trainer John Sargent) defeated favoured Australian-bred Planet Rock (Fastnet Rock-Akris, by Zabeel) & fellow Australian-bred Classy Fashion (Fusaichi Pegasus-Elegant Fashion, by Danewin). Kasumi now has 2 wins & a runner-up from 3 starts for NZ$52,850 earnings.
