Cambiaso Wins Superracing Stakes

Vinery Stud shuttler More Than Ready (Southern Halo-Woodman's Girl, by Woodman) added a juvenile black-type success (& 90th individual stakes-winner world-wide) when favoured colt Cambiaso (More Than Ready-Flying Alpha, by Flying Spur) scored a half-length victory on debut in the $100,000 Listed Superracing Stakes (1000m) for 2YOs at Flemington. Cambiaso (ridden by Dwayne Dunn for trainer Danny O’Brien) defeated the fillies Imprimis (Magnus-Tendency, by Rory's Jester) & Lil Red Corvette (Henny Hughes-Speedy Rossa, by Testa Rossa). Cambiaso (a $300,000 yearling consigned by Torryburn Stud at the 2011 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) now has a win in his initial start for $61,000 earnings.
