Clodovil Colt Wins Europe's Richest 2YO Race

Irish-bred juvenile colt Coupe De Ville (Clodovil-Fantastic Account, by Fantastic Light) won Europe’s richest juvenile race with a 1-length victory in the £500,000 (A$800,000) Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy (7 furlongs) at Newmarket in England for trainer Richard Hannon. Coupe De Ville was a €74,000 (A$101,000) weanling at Ireland’s 2009 Goffs November Sale & later an 82,000 guineas (A$135,000) yearling at the 2010 UK Tattersalls October Sale. Overall Coupe De Ville now has 4 wins (also including August’s Listed Stonehenge Stakes over 8 furlongs at Salisbury) & a runner-up from 6 starts for £297,533 (A$476,000) earnings.
