Medaglia D'Oro Adds US Gr2

Multiple Gr1-winning shuttler Medaglia D'Oro (El Prado-Cappucino Bay, by Bailjumper) added a US graded-stakes success when front-running daughter Plum Pretty (Medaglia D'Oro-Liszy, by A.P.Indy) scored 7.5-lengths victory in the US$750,000 Gr2 Cotillion Handicap (8.5 furlongs) for 3Yo fillies at Parx Racing (formerly Philadelphia Park) in Pennsylvania. Plum Pretty (ridden by Rafael Bejarano for trainer Bob Baffert) defeated It’s Tricky (Mineshaft-Catboat, by Tale Of The Cat) & Daring Reality (Include-Miz Emmalou, by Well Decorated). Plum Pretty (a US$130,000 2YO at the 2010 Ocala Breeders March Sale) now has 4 wins (also including May’s Gr1 Kentucky Oaks over 9 furlongs at Churchill Downs & March’s Listed Sunland Park Oaks over 8.5 furlongs in New Mexico) & 4 placings (in July’s Gr1 Coaching Club American Oaks over 9 furlongs at Saratoga, June’s Gr2 Hollywood Oaks over 8.5 furlongs at Hollywood Park, February's Gr1 Las Virgenes Stakes over 8 furlongs at Santa Anita & January's Gr2 Santa Ynez Stakes over 7 furlongs at Santa Anita) from 9 starts for US$1,296,700 earnings.
