Miss Stellabelle Wins TBV Champagne Stakes

Former shuttler Dehere (Deputy Minister-Sister Dot, by Secretariat) added a group success (& 69th individual stakes-winner world-wide) when daughter Miss Stellabelle (Dehere-Sam's Belle, by Spinning World) came from last-in-running to score a 1.5-lengths victory in the $150,000 Gr3 TBV Champagne Stakes (1200m) for 3YO fillies at Moonee Valley. Miss Stellabelle (ridden by Damien Oliver for trainer Mark Kavanagh) defeated Platelet (Strategic-Bloodline, by Dracula) & Miss Zoom (Delago Brom-Carazoom, by Mookta). Miss Stellabelle (a $75,000 yearling consigned by Glastonbury Farm at the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) now has 2 wins & a placing from 4 starts for $110,375 earnings.
