US triple Gr1-winning Kentucky-based Lane's End Farm pensioned stallion Kingmambo (Mr Prospector-Miesque, by Nureyev) added a group success when favoured 7YO gelding My Kingdom Of Fife (Kingmambo-Fairy Godmother, by Fairy King) scored a 2.25-lengths victory in the $125,000 weight-for-age Gr3 Craven Plate (2000m) at Randwick. My Kingdom Of Fife (ridden by Nash Rawiller for trainer Chris Waller) defeated 4YO entire Shootoff (Duelled-Athenri, by Zabeel) & fellow 7YO gelding Gazza Guru (Street Cry-Proud Halo, by Don't Say Halo). My Kingdom Of Fife was purchased at 2010’s UK Tattersalls Autumn Horses-In-Training Sale by bloodstock agent Alistair Donald for 60,000 guineas (A$99,000) on behalf of Australian owner Richard Pegum. My Kingdom Of Fife took his record to 7 wins (also including May’s Gr2 A.D.Hollindale Stakes over 1800m at the Gold Coast & both April's Gr3 Doncaster Mile Prelude over 1600m at Randwick & Gr1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes over 2000m at Randwick) & 10 placings (including September’s Gr2 Chelmsford Stakes over 1600m at Warwick Farm & May’s Gr1 Doomben Cup over 2020m) from 25 starts for $1,001,325 earnings.
