2 Wins From 2 Starts For NZ$1.3m Redoute's Colt

On the New Zealand track yesterday, valuable 3YO colt Burgundy (Redoute's Choice-Grand Echezeaux, by Zabeel) made it 2-wins-from-2-starts with a 3.25-lengths victory over 1400m at Taupo for trainer Jason Bridgman. Burgundy (a 3/4-brother to 5-time Gr1-winning & 5-time Gr1-placed stallion Darci Brahma) was a NZ$1.3 million yearling consigned by Pencarrow Stud at the 2010 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
