Vinery confirmed Giant Surprise (Giant’s Causeway-Twisted Sis, by A.P.Indy) “an impressive 2YO Saratoga maiden winner in his 1st start this year, has been retired from racing & will stand at Vinery New York at Sugar Maple Farm in 2012” for US$3,500 reported bloodhorse.com. Giant Surprise (a US$130,000 yearling at the Keeneland September Sale) scored by 4.25-lengths on debut over 6 furlongs in 1min 10.23sec for owner Mike Repole (earning a 90 Beyer Speed Figure).
